This is quite possibly the coolest controller hack around. Although the sad thing is that it is not possible to run the LED’s through internal power due to insufficient voltage, it requires its own power supply. Looks sw33t though.

This is actually a piece of functional art made by artist Billy Chasen. Billy took apart a working iPod and encased it in resin, and it still works! The docking internals are embedded at the bottom of the cube, so you are still able to control it, charge it and listen to it.
